Make no mistake-the NFL is making new rules primarily to cover their a**. They know they cant stop concussions. I agree though,it does seem like there is significantly more concussions this year. They used to call it "getting your bell rung". Players would come out for a few plays, maybe a quarter if they were really foggy and go back in. They didn't call it a concussion unless the player lost consciousness.

I guess we'll see how this week progresses ... with concussions if he passes a test he'll be able to play, so I'm not ruling him out just yet.
