Saints Work Out a Few Safeties

Fantastic  Ed Reed maybe?

"The New Orleans Saints worked out former Indianapolis Colts safety Joe Lefeged and former Dallas Cowboys safety Eric Frampton, according to a league source.

He (Lefeged) was arrested in late June in Washington, D.C.. after fleeing police during a traffic stop and charged with carrying a firearm without a license, having an unregistered firearm, having unregistered ammunition, presence of a firearm in a motor vehicle and possession of an open container of alcohol.

Like I said, we've got injuries. Ed Reed.

I don't see why we don't sign Reed. We can afford him, he's from Nola, and he can mentor all of safeties even MJ and Harper. It just makes to much sense. We did it with Sharper why not do it again?

Okay Larry. Then why did they bring in a few Safeties? What is Larry's handle on this forum? :p

Harper should never be on Vernon. Lewis needs to take that responsibility.

Vernon should never be single covered. He's a TE like JG is a TE. Which is to say in name only. He's too big and strong for most CBs and too fast for any LB. Gang up on him!

Davis should be checked at the line and not be allowed free release and have Lewis cover him.

Definately need short and deep coverage on him not let one man take the whole field with him.

Yeah! Preferably Before the game, with sticks and a crowbar ;-)
VD is really good and the only guy on that O that scares me.

White and Jenkins over the top should be coverage on Davis. As long as Davis doesn't get a free release of the LOS we should be fine. Crapernak has be awful this year so we shouldn't be concerned with them passing the ball. Need to play base 34 and Harper in the box.

Come on guys we should resign Shanle and have him play man coverage on him again. I hate the 49ers more than any other team including Failclowns. I have never wanted a regular season win more than this. They cant let Davis beat us again and surely to God Brees has a chip after those pick sixes. I smell a blowout.

No free releases off the line of scrimmage. That narrows the gap in talent and speed.

Im all for not hiring choir boys, but blatant criminals are another story. I guess they couldn't hurt anything if we brought them in until healthy and then cut them. Whatever the FO does I am fine with.

One more concussion and KV will probably be done for the year. Also, it doesn't bode well for a long term career in the NFL.

He's quite reckless in his tackling. I hope he keeps the physicality up while mindful of his current state.

i like the idea but i think he should get Anquan Boldin
dbl up on davis. I think White would be a solid defender with jenkins over the top and have a LB nail him on every play as he tries to release.
