Hebert and Deke said when we first released him that it was that he wasn't too smart. Now if Hebert says that, you know it's bad! Maybe bring back on PS, I don't know.

This makes sense. Not the bringing him back part, but the part about not being smart enough. The one thing the defense has going for it is that it is made up of very football savvy players. They are smart enough to pick up and thrive in Rob Ryan's complex schemes - something the Cowboys could not achieve.
