AT A LOSS
Frustration continues to be a theme this season for the Saints, who have lost three in a row and continue to make mental mistakes the coaches say are upsetting and difficult to explain

The frustration is starting to mount for the struggling Saints.

The weight of an ugly three-game losing streak and the pressure of failed expectations are starting to manifest themselves in the day-to-day operations.

For the rest of the story......

Haslett, a former defensive assistant in the NFL, was at a loss to explain the poor performance of his defense, which surrendered 605 yards against Minnesota, the most in New Orleans franchise history.
When was the last time you heard Haslett answer a question? Seriously. Why is he always \"at a loss to explain the poor performance of his [fill in the blank].\" You\'re a head coach in the NFL. If you can\'t answer this question, you don\'t deserve your job, IMO. I can answer the f-ing question.

Besides the individual play of Grant, Young and Bellamy, Haslett cited the performance of the offensive line, which has played well in consecutive games...
Played well? Excelled I dare say?

Excel - v - To go beyond or surpass in good qualities...
Well - adj - In a favorable or approving manner...

LMAO.

Parcells is saying the same thing about the Cowboys. He\'s blaming his players. Says this stuff about Leadership is \"Great when your winning, but not worth much when you aren\'t\". Would you like a link so you can hear his next PC on the internet? I\'d love to provide it. I\'m sure you won\'t require any assistance getting your foot out of your mouth after, but someone can be provided if necessary.

The line did play well Whodat...at times. Did you see Brooks running for his life? I did. Did you see him get sacked? I did. This, to you, is called \"excelling\"? Oooooo K. Maybe you should start another one of your little polls and see who thinks they \"excel\".

Oh, did you see your boy Deuce -- well, I started to say \"miss that block\", but then he didn\'t even try...just sorta stood there...on the play where Brooks gets sacked before he can take ONE step back from the line? Joe T was all over him for screwing up one of the screen plays. Interesting huh? I\'m sure you saw it. Question is, will your agenda let you admit it?

C'mon Man...

i dont know how the o line played well when brooks seemed to be under constant pressure. this i blame more on mccarthy for lack of adjustments as it seemed to be the same thing every play by the vikes. blitz.

1) I didn\'t ask about Bill Parcells. I asked a question about Jim Haslett. I couldn\'t care less about the Cowboys problems. But go ahead and continue to compare Haslett to Parcells. That\'s a valid argument. One of the great coaches of all time. One coached in the NFL. It\'s not hard to tell the difference to me... but go ahead, that\'s a fantastic analogy.

2) JIM HASLETT said the line played well the last two consecutive games. You apparently disagree. So what\'s the deal? Are YOU right and the coach you put so much faith in wrong? The guy who sees the players every day in practice is either lying or incapable of determining what is good or bad line play? Or maybe you\'re just incorrect in your assessment.... it\'s a toss up.

whodat,

Comparing Haz to Parcells is like comparing ham and eggs.

One is commited and the other dedicated. The chicken is commited and the pig is dedicated.

You choose which is which. I have my opinion.

:P

I\'m with you Joe, it didn\'t make any friggin sense the first time it was said. Now it\'s just so tired. If you want to make an argument, make one and support it. I\'m tired of reading how any football statement WhoDat makes is part of some nutty conspiracy. Next thing you know WhoDat will be controlling a fleet of black helicopters seen around the dome on game day. :icon_eyesroll:

Thanks BMG - seriously. I\'m glad it\'s not just me. I was starting to feel like John Kerry up there. No matter how lucid my argument, I\'m always just a \"flip flopper.\" Nevermind making any statements to the contrary when you can just use the word agenda.

And yes, those are my helos. It\'s not the evil empire Joe, you\'re mixing up analogies! It\'s the moonbeam express. Just wait, one of these days Romeo is going to parachute out and land just outside of Gate A at the Dome. Then you\'ll thank me!
