Anyone going to Seattle?

Just was wondering who's going to Seattle to see the game. Didn't know if there were going to be any pre-game spots to meet up for a Who Dat tailgate. Gotta make this better then the Saint's last trip out this way. Is it too early to start looking at trip info to N.Y. for Feb??? :-D

My wife is going with a girlfriend. Last time I went to Seattle I almost went to jail defending myself, so I'm gonna pass.

Classless fans. Absolutely classless.

I will never spend another dollar there, will never even support the city by going to a soccer game in that stadium. Im hoping for an absolute ass kicking and embarrassment of the seachicks, if we lose than I hope the stadium collapse's on all its ignorant fans....ohh and if any of you plan on going, than use the restroom before the game I wouldn't even try to get up once you get a seat. you'll most likely get your ass kicked while standing at the yurinal by some Fn rude and drunk hawks fan. I LOATHE that team, we better woop their ass

I'm not sure about your experience but I have a friend thats a Rams fan. She went to a game in Seattle a few years ago and had a great time. I'm not sure who won the game though.

Are you sure you weren't in Philly? Maybe Seattle has changed since then. I'm going to go ahead and hate them with you now. The problem is they sucked so bad for so long there isn't any really good graphics out there to post.

In fact, the closer the gametime comes the more I hate them.

Oh, and Richard Sherman is a big mouth loser!

Had a similar experience w/ my wife and son. Seahawk fans are not only passionate and loud but some, if not most are real pieces of dung. Not fun having a liquored up simp swearing at you and your 10 yr old son. Had a lady purposely spill a beer down the back of my neck, although she denied it. Spit on by a real douche ball. I live in Washington, and theres not a team I hate worse, period. Surrounded by 'em asshats in every poe-dunk town from Idaho to the ocean. Can't make it this year because of business, but when i drop a deuce on game day, i'll dedicate to all the sea chicken fans.

Those are visitor seats that are not sold out, probably. Those seats will also go to classless punks.

Eff the Seahawks.

Win or lose you can't stop for a beer on the way back to the hotel. It sucks.

Belair, I was thinking of you when I started reading this thread. I remember you telling us how badly you and your family was treated when you were up there. It was at that playoff game two years ago, right?

Re: Anyone going to Seattle?

I lived in seattle the last 15 years before moving back to New Mexico after my wife and I split, so yeah Hulka, ive attended every saints game in that time, and I finally got to the point where I will never attend a visitors stadium again. When my brother and I make our rare trips to NO, that's the only time I will ever see the Saints play again, its just not worth the headaches

Re: Anyone going to Seattle?

Well I've been here since 2001 now (originally from Arabi, LA) and have made every Saints game when they come to town. While the fan behavior isn't always the best (sore losers for sure), it's NOTHING compared to the treatment at S.F. playoff game. Even the old guy stadium seating person kept running up to us giving us crap each time S.F. did something. I always had a healthy respect for Frank Gore, Pat Willis, and some of the other players, but after that experience, they are right up there with Atlanta. Absolutely the WORST experience at a game I've ever been to.

Wow!!!! When we went thru. San Fran we had a GREAT exp. The fans were awesome, maybe it was because we had A Brooks and we sucked a-hole

Boy from what I've seen from the 49er fans, the descriptions I'm reading lead me to believe that Seapigeon fans might be even worse.

There's a reason that the Seahawks (or the NFL) had undercover cops dress in visiting teams gear while at games in Seattle. People seemed surprised when they heard about it but it's true, a lot of the fans at that stadium are squids.

I'll be there with a bunch of fans from other teams that hate the Seahawks. Should be interesting. During the playoff game I watched as a man told 2 girls under the age of 10 that they he was going to "Finish what Katrina started". Waited till their father was in the washroom. Thankfully when I challenged him a bunch of fans in our section backed me up.

My wife who isn't a football fan but was proudly wearing the black and gold, watched a girl get accosted in the washroom. Almost made me take her out of the stadium in the 3rd quarter. Needless to say she will be staying in Vancouver for this one!

I attended a game in Seattle last season and the fans are pretty fanatical to say the least. There were a couple of opposing team fans in our section that got completely disrespected for absolutely no reason. I think you can almost count on having a hard time if you're wearing Saints colors!

Definitely. My wife got me a Jimmy Graham jersey specifically for this game. Over it I'll have a Saints cap, Saints jacket and Saints gloves.

I think you folks are overreacting just a wee bit. If you just remember whose house you're in and don't act like jerks, you should be fine. Oh sure, you might run into a drunk home team fan who wants to be a tough guy, but the same thing could happen at any stadium, even the Superdome, ...especially the Superdome. :)

Whoa! Where's all this southern hospitality I've read about? Anyway, I didn't come here to rile you guys up. Just wanted to partake in a little friendly banter.
Should be a heck of a game. It'll be our biggest test for sure. We'll have no excuses if you beat us.

Our only problem is not paying ENTERGY's high-@$$ utility bill...

I'm in a group of friends that travel to other stadiums and ballparks to "appreciate" what others have and what we have - there is no better venue for professional football than the Superdome, none...

If there are issues it's visiting fans not able to handle our laissez faire restrictions (lack of) on alcoholic beverages...

Philadelphia fans followed by New York, then Chicago fans are the worse behaved guests...

Funniest story was a Philadelphia fan who was stated he was going to sue Dome mgt and the Saints after he was "assaulted"; overhead video cam showed he couldn't walk straight when he was told to leave and took the express down the Terrace stairs...

Seahawks fans have the passive/aggressive thing going...

I've always wanted to attend a Seahawks/Saints game at the Superdome. The wife and I went down to Houston this past Sept. and watched that squeaker against the Texans. It was a great experience.
