Im seeing an inordinate amount of cockiness on the board lately, which I think
is really whistling in the graveyard. This is America, so guys, feel free to talk chit, and then have to eat it tuesday morning, (or dec 9 or dec 23) in the event our crowns are premature. I wont stop you.

But I see a very tough series of tests for us, with possibly the best team in the League next week. Not only do I like to be realistic, but if we do happen to light up the rest of this schedule, I think we should truly appreciate the magnitude of this team's accomplishment. Think of the night we beat the Patriots 40 something to 17, and kept our streak. You didnt KNOW we could
really be them. It was amazing when we did, and the uncertainty made it much better.

I like being loud and proud, and raising hell in the Dome. But humility serves us well also.

Yeah, we could lose. Bummer
But we could just as likely stomp their ass. Not a bummer.

I'll go with stomping that ass.

If we lose it doesn't matter if we were cocky or humble, it hurts just the same.

But if we win it just feels a little better that we were cocky (or confident) about it.

Im confident, but Im also real.
And I dont see any purpose in being a jerk to other teams fans
who visit us.
Normally, people applaud us for our coolness. Think SloMotion.
thats all.

I fully intend to see Seattle stiffing up the run defense and taking their chances with Brees giving the wind conditions. If you watched MNF you could tell the wind had something to say about deep passes. I must have seen 5-6 off target. If we are able to connect on some of those then they are going to be in trouble. Same goes for them, I see us playing the same style D and whoever makes those throws will likely win the game. I'll take Brees and co. in that situation.

The New England game had winds over 20 MPH.

Weather sites show the winds in Seattle being between 3 and 6 MPH over the next 10 days. So that does not appear to be a factor in this game. Rainy conditions might be something to consider, although it would only be drizzling.
