What is with this new forum trend?

Seems like every other person is accusing someone of not being a "true fan" of the Saints and not being loyal. So because someone is critical of the team they love getting exponentially worse each year they are not a fan any more? That is ridiculous. I think 34 consec sellouts to see a losing product is testament enough to the loyalty we all as Saints fans have shown.

EVERYONE on this site loves the Saints and want only the best for them. Saints fans can't be bandwagoners cause all we know is losing. Even during the Mora years with an NFC West title and trips to the playoffs, we knew we were gonna lose, yet we still yelled loudly, still talked smack, still supported our boys cause they are ours. People here who want Brooks gone deep down actually want him to put it all together and lead this team. People who want Haz and his staff gone(myself included) would love if he could get things right and get this team playing like we all know they can. And the reason that is is because they are Saints, plain and simple. We are prepared to go to war with anyone who puts on that black and gold, and all we ask for is they give us their all on that field every Sunday, and this team is not doing that and hasn't for a while. Sure there are certain players who are, but as a team they are not, and that is why we feel let down.

These Saints are rolling over, something you would not see even out of losing Saints teams in the past(except maybe that year that Mora quit). Win or lose they played hard. And now we have more talent than I have ever known as a Saints fan, and we are as bad as the worst teams we have had. It doesn't make sense so it is frustrating. Doesn't mean we need to start pointing the fingers at each other. Let's recognize each other for who we are, Saints fans, frustrated, disgusted, surprised, upset, confused, desperate, but loyal Saints fans.

lol. Thanks FOB. Just thought there was no need for us to be pointing fingers at each other when we have so many more options and it seems that theme was getting kinda prevalent around here.

That was pretty funny deberce1, or Rene. hahaha

Whodi,

While I agree with the flavor of your post, I don\'t think it\'ll change anything. Though, I certainly agree with you that NOTHING interesting comes from challenging other peoples\' character - whether that has to do with their fanhood or their manhood.

It is nice, though, to have a thread where we take a moment to pause and enjoy a somewhat disturbing trend from the outside.

Hey JKool,

Not trying to change the world, just point out we are all on the same side. We may have different viewpoints of what needs to be done to right the ship, but we all have the same goal. And we are all definitely Saints fans til the end.
