What ??? Out of desperation Haslett has made one of the best moves of his coaching career. Can it be that he has finally figured out that we need to shake this roster up some! My prayers have been answered, because Fakhir is starting and Devery and Colby are expected to see playing time this week. Wonder what happened?

Ashley (Ambrose) is out for the game," Haslett said. "He has a torn PCL; it's not bad, he'll probably start running tomorrow and the bye week will be good for him. Donte' Stallworth has a rib contusion and he didn't practice; if he doesn't go, then Michael Lewis and Devery (Henderson) will be the three and four receivers. That depends on how he feels tomorrow; he's going to have to practice tomorrow. Darren Howard is not playing."
With the injury to Ambrose, Fakhir Brown and Mike McKenzie are expected to start at cornerback for the Saints.

No need to wonder at all. He said it himself, injuries happened. Wasn\'t it an injury that forced him to start Books when we had Blake? Someone has to get hurt for Haslett and his staff to make a change. Now if only someone could put a banana peel in Tebucky\'s carport..................................................

If someone did that we\'d lose our leading tackler. ;)

That\'s a sacrifice I am willing to make. hahaha A leading tackler on a last place defense is worth about as much as a bag of ice in Alaska.

what other defensive moves would help? Hmmm. Venturi to waterboy?

Adam Sandler would do a better job.

He is a bust. Bellicheck knew it, and now we know it. Six million signing bonus for an athletic guy fast prototypical safety - that can\'t catch.

Perhaps Knight was slow - but he made turnovers. This guy just doesn\'t. He is a bust.

I read of Stallworth\'s injury...Stallworth lets the ball through his hands into his rib cage before letting it hit the groud. The injury happens before the ball hits the ground for an incompletion.

TFF.

The only reason Tebucky is the leading tackler is because nobody else on the defense is doing it. Offensive lineman push through our line, then take on the linebackers. The only person that\'s left is Tebucky. I honestly believe that a very good high school player could do the job he does. Hell you could probably put a remote control tackiling dummy out there and get the same result.

I don\'t get why Haslett believe Mel Mitchel can\'t play free safety as well as strong safety. The guy use to be a corner & all corners when their speed diminish play free safety instead of strong. My prayers will be answered if Sucky break a leg. Nah, no reason to start wishing bad things on someone, I just hope haslett and his staff take that risk. My stater wish list:

Joe Horn
Jerome Pathon
Ernie Conwell
Wayne Gandy
Kendyl Jacox
Lecharles Bently
Jamar Nesbit
Spence Folau
Mike Karney
Aaron Stecker (only cuz I want Deuce healthier coming out of the Bye)
Aaron Brooks

Charles Grant
Howard Green
Willie Whitehead
Will Smith
Colby Bockwoldt (WLB)
Courtney Watson
Roger Knight
Mike Mckenzie
Fahkir Brown
Jay Bellamy
Mel Mitchell

I really like that list king.
I just don\'t know about Roger Knight.
He didn\'t do well filling in when Hodge went down.
He plays special teams well, but he might be too slow for an outside backer.

I just pick Roger Knight over Derrick Roger cuz Knight been with the saint longer with Venturi scheme and I don\'t want a veteran that could influence or corrupt our rookie lb\'s. I might be wrong, but I don\'t know who screwing up on their assignments.

That\'s true king
It would be awesome to watch the film the players do, so we could really see who blows their assignments, and who takes on more blocks, etc..
