this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Can anyone remember who our D coach was from our 2000 playoff year? Think it was Ron Zook before he went off to be abused by the Florida faithful. Either way, I think that's a HUGE part of our problem. ...

How many people regret not seeing #23 Trufant jerseys in the Saints store right now?

I don\'t think you will get much disagreement with either of those statements. I think they have both been beat to death here before.

BiggPoppa,

Welcome to the board.

Zook has definitely been missed.

As you\'ll know, if you\'ve been reading here, it is pretty well the general consensus that the coaching staff needs a major overhaul - especially at HC, O-Coord, and D-Coord.

Yeah, just came back after a long layoff and same as it ever was. Just not a lot else to complain about in our world. all leads the same direction.

You know though, our team has something, just can\'t seem to pull the trigger. Sitting at home and watching them play, it\'s like they almost get it going, then get depressed and fall back. At least Watson is great. Been a while since we had a LB we could count on.

If we bring in Romeo, the D coordinator position won\'t even matter, as I\'m sure he\'ll have control of that aspect of the team.
