Injured Reserve

Will Smith
Jabari Greer
Kenyon Coleman
Jonathan Vilma
Patrick Robinson
and possibly Victor Butler

None are spring chickens, and all have pretty substantial salaries for '14
I think Smith and Vilma are done, and Greer comes back at a discount, not the $4 mill he is due
Coleman never played a down here and, to be blunt, is in a dime a dozen position.
P.Rob might benefit from us being thin at corner, but is now 26. Step up or move on

Re: Injured Reserve

Greer is our injury loss-of-the-year thus far, in my opinion. Because of the lack of depth behind him.

And it is costing us.

I totally agree with you my friend. Greer has been the man.
Please don't bring back P. Rob........please.:(

Funny; Patrick Robinson had the starting job opposite Lewis before he was injured... Must have been doing something right...

He was our 2nd best CB. I hope he comes back 100%

Re: Injured Reserve

P-Rob was playing solid. Look at the play he got hurt. Covering Vincent Jackson on the outside. Coaches must've been happy with something he was doing. If we had a healthy trio of Lewis/Greer/Robinson right now we'd be one of the better secondaries in football.

Coleman isn't coming back, neither are vilma or smith. Greer, don't know the status of his contract, but that injury was nasty.. at his age- forget about it. P.Rob has made some plays and I can see him opposite lewis.

Smith is doing more of a service on IR rather than OLB, he is one of my all time favorite Saints, but it's time to move on.
