Saints Rams week 15

Before all the "Rams give us fits" comments come my way.. Do you know why?

Since Sean Payton arrived we are 2-2 with the Rams.
Home or Away doesn't matter thats 2-2 also.

In both of our losses Steve Jackon gave us fits.

2011 (31-21 Saints Loss) Steve Jackson went 25-159 6.4 YPC and 2 TDs
No recievers had over 55 yards.
Feeley threw for 145 yards and 1 TD
Boxscore - New Orleans Saints vs. St. Louis Rams, October 30, 2011 - The Football Database

2007 (37-29 Saints Loss)I wont get too deep but again Steve Jackson threw for a TD (yep a 2 yard pass) and ran for a TD.
Bulger threw for 302 yards and 2 TDs
Boxscore - St. Louis Rams vs. New Orleans Saints, November 11, 2007 - The Football Database

In the last 4 meetings Steve Jackson has accounted for at least 100 ttl yards and at least 2 TDs in every game.

Steve Jackson is not there any more, and i do not see that they have a replacement offensive weapon.

We'll do to them what Arizona just did.

The Saint's D has improved dramatically against the run. Consider what they did against SF and Seattle. Gore and Lynch were both held to less than 50 yards rushing, averaging 3.7 and 2.8 yds per carry, respectively. I can't see where anyone will beat us with a run game like the Jets did.

So long as the O can move the ball consistently and keep the D off the field....

All true but the Rams always give us fits.

Why... because they are blue? The Rams have always had an aspect that gave us fits and those are not present with this team.

You know which of our last three games would worry me if I were a worrying man?

Tampa Bay - TB has the #1 thing we have the most consistent trouble with Glennon (A rookie QB), and neither Doug Martin or Vincent Jackson are slouches.

If memory serves, it was the Rams defense that played balls out against us last time. Need the O-line to play like last night.

We put up 21 in the second 1/2 in 2011... 21 points in this league wins most games.

Steve Jackson had 160 yards, 2 TDs, and a long run of 32 yards. Drew was also having one of those sharing games where he threw 2 INTs, obe of which was a 27 yard Pick 6..

Rams defensive line has caused the Saints problems in the past. Not worried too much about their offense though. If we play any kind of decent defense we can have this game well in hand by halftime.
