Logan Thomas late to the Saints? Has all the skills and size but needs coaching. He could be a good one sitting behind Brees for awhile.

Yep. Johnny can run and AJ had a solid day. I agree Exile, not throwing at the combine was a missed opportunity for Carr to showcase his talent.

Re: 2014 NFL Draft

Am I the only one that expected a better 40 yard dash time from Johnny Manziel?

For a short quarterback, I expected a 4.4 or better...

Re: 2014 NFL Draft

A 4.4 for a quarterback is extremely rare.

2014 NFL Draft

Kind of disappointed by D'Anthony Thomas in the 40... Dri Archer definitely stole the show. Of course speed isn't everything but Archer and Jeff Janis made themselves a little extra money this weekend.

I'd love to have Archer return kicks for us. He'd make one hell of a weapon for Payton.

He'd be our own Trindon Holliday. Cut Cadet and let Archer learn for a season under Sproles... Then let Sproles go after the season for cap space.

Re: 2014 NFL Draft

In the 4/5 or 5/6 range i am looking at

Jerick McKinnon Georgia Southern 5090 209

32 reps of 225???? then puts up a 4.41 and a ten split 1.46 same as Archer DAMMMMMMMMMMM.

RB/WR/KR/DB/QB - TO NAME JUST A FEW lets me spell that out
starring at quarterback, slotback, fullback, defensive back and kick returner

he is a player if you draft him you find a away to get him on the field. special teams gunning demon i bet right out the gate in year one. he is the type of player that gets that last spot on the roster

LMAO COMPARES TO: Mark Ingram, New Orleans Saints
Jerick McKinnon, RB, Georgia Southern, NFL Draft - CBSSports.com - NFLDraftScout.com

the other small school mighty mouse that looked really good was

John Brown, Pittsburg State WR/KR 5-10, 179, 4.34
This kid has great hands

They did much better than i thought they would
Tyler Gaffney Stanford
George Atkinson ND

with this draft i would take a handful of beans and the cap space and trade Ingram. ok maybe not beans

Wilson ran a 4.55 and is shorter than Manziell. These are QBs brother.

40 yard times for QBs are moot, quickness is more relevant than speed.

I have to disagree with you a bit here Oak. QBs times used to be moot but with today's hybrid QBs. It's a big deal.
