And this:

Louisville S Calvin Pryor has three #NFL team visits this week: #Saints (today), #Bengals, #Jets.

I know every one loves Calvin and he is a good player but i still do not rate him in the top 20, beauty contest only go so far in book. he has some issues with his game. tackling is one of my pet peeves. knock out hits look good on espn but open field tackling is more important. plus his coverage skills need work. elite tools and potential is what your drafting and i can understand the move.

Deone Bucannon is the player i really like. he will go higher than the media say and should be the second or third safety off the board. He is the best SS/FS in the class. i would take him over Calvin or HaHa or Ward.

Aaron Colvin on day 3 is a steal if the medicals are good. sit for year on IR as we always do. he slid after first round rating at the beginning of the year to a 2/3 range. even then he was a bargin.

Just watched Game Changers. Jarvis Landry should be our pick.

Re: 2014 NFL Draft

Award for the most pointless and boring mock draft goes to drafttek.com.

R1 David Yankey OG
Good player no doubt but wouldn't play for two years with Grubbs and Evans on roster and plenty of depth at guard available later.

R2 Bashaud Breeland CB
Not looked at him much but he wasn't one of the 5 CB the saints spoke to yesterday and better players still on the board.

R3 Weston Richburg
Cant complain here, though I think it will be Stork drafted to compete for the job.

R4 Ryan Carrethers DT
Just whats needed!
So far three of four picks are back ups. Carrethers just needs to beat out Bunkley and Jenkins to get game time.

R5 Jack Tyler ILB
Lets spend a 5th on a 6ft 230lb (4.8 40) of a ILB that may battle it out to be the 4th option at the position.

R5 Matt Patchen
R6 Cornelius Lucas

Both LOT, no complaints

None of the needed WRs or DE/OLB

Re: 2014 NFL Draft

Bashaud Breeland please just say no, kid needs serious coaching and that on fundamentals and attitude in run support is timid to say the least. ceiling is not that high for a kid with a low floor to begin with.

Weston Richburg in round 3 would be a steal

R6 Cornelius Lucas OT Kansas is an interesting long term project. he has a mean streak to him and from reports he is a hard worker. foot injury needs an eval. 36 3/4" arms? dam talk about a wing span at 6'8. "work in progress" for his entire career is my favorite quote on the kid. at 6-8 he maybe one of those kids that were still growing in college and just now is getting use to to his body.

the rest all i can say drafttek geshhh but they due have the best trade chart on the net

pass on lack of talent, injury or just major reach factor

Re: 2014 NFL Draft

I wonder how'd they'd (Jets fans) react if the Jets had taken Erxleban in the first?!?

Not sure they've had it as bad as we did those first forty years...

Re: 2014 NFL Draft

Aaron Murray (ACL) threw 52-of-54 catchable balls at Georgia’s pro day on Wednesday, but NFL.com's Gil Brandt noted that "toward the end of the workout it appeared as if his arm got tired."

Murray's surgically-repaired knee "looked stable" in front of reps from 20 NFL teams. Included in that bunch were the QB coaches from the Cowboys, Jaguars, Chiefs, Saints and Rams. Interestingly, Jacksonville also sent its head coach (Gus Bradley) and general manager (David Caldwell), while St. Louis dispatched director of player personnel Taylor Morton. Brandt did clarify that, despite the fatigue, Murray looked good. "He’s a not-get-too-high or not-get-too-low type of player," the analyst wrote. "If there’s a run on quarterbacks in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft, he could wind up being selected in that round."
