And could've/should've won more...

Since Brees and Sean Payton joined the band in 2006, the Saints had won 79 games going into this past weekend’s game with Carolina.

Here’s some perspective: Over their first 18 seasons, beginning in 1967 and ending in 1984, the Saints won a grand total of 78 games.

That’s right. They’ve won more games since 2006 than they won in their first 18 seasons.

Oh I agree, been around a long time! Back before Mora came winning a game was total shock. When SP and Drew came the team became consistent contenders.

We deserve it. Heck we had sellouts when they were 1-15, wearing bags on our heads we created a new trend. We have everyright to be spoiled. We earned that right when we bled The Black and Gold the first time we cut ourselves!!

In their existence the Saints are 316-400 (plus 6-8 in playoffs)
'Spoiled' doesn't apply to quite of few of us

Re: Today's Saints fans are spoiled

When you have started predicting failure ahead of time you have given up hope. When you give up hope before the season is done, you are the kid throwing his bat because he was struck out in the 5th inning.

You are acting like a brat... Because things are not going your way you pitch a fit, stop your feet, tell everyone that doesn't agree with you that they are blind because they do not see things your way.

Schit isn't over until its is over and the fat lady can warm up all she likes. Until she drags her fat azz to the mound and throws the last pitch its irrelevant other than to incite panic.

90% of you wouldn't last 2m under heavy fire, and a wound would put you into shock.

It was very easy to be a Saints fan in 2009, this year it takes a little testicular fortitude. Man up.

Disappointment is fine. Some have lost hope. Others say they lost hope just to protect themselves from utter disappointment if the Saints don't take it all the way. To me, that's no way to live. What's the phrase? It's better to have had faith and lose, then to never have had faith at all.

I read the perfect line the other day...

If everyone here were Saints players, we'd have a whole bunch of locker room cancers.
