Threaten his job...

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; You know it might not make much of a difference, but when Haz's job was on the line against the Raiders we actually won... It wasnt pretty we started the game with what like 3 drives of 3 and out? ...

Threaten his job...

You know it might not make much of a difference, but when Haz's job was on the line against the Raiders we actually won... It wasnt pretty we started the game with what like 3 drives of 3 and out? However, our D didnt play so bad early... now late in the game thats a different story... Im just thinking that maybe we threaten his job and he might make a speech to fire up the boys and they come out and play... if they come out flat as usual then the players obviously dont want him there... or they arent responding to his lame attempt at motivation. Either way I think we can use any kinda boost we can get... I mean fire the coach now and we can call it a year... that could make for alot of exciting but disappointing games... Kinda like what Florida has the rest of the way... I just think any kinda motivation would be welcomed by our team who always comes out so fired up... :( any thoughts?

Threaten his job...

any motivation would be nice. guess we\'ll see about that come Sunday.

Unfortunately I think our win v. the Raiders was more we had less jackassery than them. Kinda like voting for the lesser of 2 evils. (hmmm....)

Still, like I said, we\'ll see how well the kids do after an off week.

Venturi now has company. All hail King Sullivan, for he doth sucketh as well. At least we can take heart in the fact that they will combine to accomplish nothing.

Threaten his job...

I think we should:

1. Fine the OL $1000 for every false start penalty
2. Fine WR\'s, TE\'s etc. $1000 for stupid illegal shift penalties.
3. Fine our WR\'s and TE\'s $2000 for each easy dropped pass. (If it hits
you between the numbers or you get hands on the ball, you catch
it)
4. Fine our QB and HB $2000 for every fumble that was not caused by
a direct hit.
5. For every 3 and out, fine the OC $2000, if there were no fumbles or
dropped passes, and it was simply due to bad play calling.
6. For every stupid, bone-headed play call our DC calls, fine the guy
$2000.
7. For every game our team loses, fine the Head coach $5000.

Sure, this will probably not motivate our team, but we could solve the homeless problem in NO for a year!! Think about it. The Saints would donate about $15,000 a game.
