"Two receivers to the left, Garcon to the right. Manning in the shotgun, puts Collie in motion. Looks in his direction...it's picked off! It's picked off! It's Tracy Porter again! He's runnin' free! He's gonna go all the way!

Jarvis Landry's highlights speak for themselves.

This Deone Buchanan kid from WSU ... boy o boy. He plays like a young Jairus Byrd & has the ability to take away the ball from the WR. Its a pipe dream but he would look good playing along side Kenny V.

I also like what I see from Justin G (Ok State).

Decisions, decisions.

Deone Buchanan might not be as big of a pipe dream as you might think. the kid is a SS that has shown some ball skill. that SS/FS tweener skill set might just help us land the kid.

Re: Mock Draft Simulator

1. Jason Verrett, CB, TCU
2. Jordan Matthews, WR, Vanderbilt
3. Lache Seastrunk, RB, Baylor
4. DeMarcus Lawrence, DE, Boise State
5. Justin Britt, OT, Missouri
6. Walt Aikens, CB, Liberty

I have serious doubts the Saints would be anywhere near this lucky. Basically every round I couldn't resist picking that particular guy up. Except for 2 which may have been a little bit of a reach.

-Verrett, put him on the outside or at nickel, he's exactly what we need. Fits the scheme perfectly.
-Matthews is being compared to Keenan Allen, was productive at Vandy with nothing at QB or much other talent around him. Has Colston size but much more speed.
-Seastrunk, couldn't pass him up there. He could contribute immediately in the return game and be a wildcard in the offense. Could replace Sproles' role in the offense now or later.
-Lawrence, pass rusher but it sounds like he's good in space too. We still don't know what we have in Butler, Haralson seems injury-prone if he even gets re-signed. Need some depth if we ever intend to run a true 3-4 at any point.
-Britt is eerily similar to Stinchcomb coming out of college. Stick him at right tackle day one, my guess is he'd be fine.
-Aikens is a guy who is crazy athletic and big for a corner. I took him with the idea of moving him to safety.
