Did Brees talk refs into throwing a flag?
 

I was reading the posts on the iggles board and a guy admits the iggles were holding either Sproles or Ingram.

It resulted in a loss and the officials didn't see it.

Supposedly Brees got the officials to huddle and they finally threw the flag

No, The Iggles weren't holding Sproles... They tackled him and yes Brees threw it to where Sproles was lying on the ground and was pointing, it was a good flag

Yeah, initially Sproles was blocking, but before he could release, he got hauled down.
I don't think I have ever seen a huddle / delayed flag on a play like that before. Brees definitely worked the call

It was a legitimate complaint. Sproles was tackled before he could release. It was a good call by the officials and a very obvious one they should've seen. Brees had every right to say somethin.

You tell the head umpire he missed something and make him ask another ref if he saw it on national TV when the violation is playing on the jumbotron...... Repeatedly :)

That's because Brees watched it happen since it took away his only option on that play and couldn't believe it wasn't noticed.

All I know as I have seen it argued hundreds of times by all kinds of players and have never ever once seen a flag result in a player asking for one like Breese did. Goodell probably had the ref fired and then drawn and quartered somewhere.

I felt we got screwed a couple of times this game by the refs, so it was nice to see some actual justice there.

I would have asked why Drew Brees hadn't got the officials attention if he had not got the officicals looking.
