I didn't see this on the site. Please delete if I reposted it. I thought Abdul-Quddus was going to be a starter after last season. We still haven't signed a CB so I'm thinking Keenan will be in the game Saturday. I like all of the activity from our coaches/GM...they aren't sitting back and are going after this game.

So I guess he actually wasn't better than Harper/Jenkins.

Thought he was a promising player. But couldn't get on the field this season. Clearly Bush surpassed him. I do think Bush and Vaccaro are the starting safeties next year.

Which one is the third in the 3 safety sets? Think we'll go with Harper, Jenkins, or will we get someone through the draft or free agency?

It was Harper, Jenkins, Vaccaro... With Vaccaro on IR it has been Harper, Jenkins, Rapheal Bush

FOOTBALL OUTSIDERS: Innovative Statistics, Intelligent Analysis | 2013 NFL SNAP COUNTS

If you look at snap counts for the season it would suggest that Jenkins Vaccaro as 1 and 2 with Bush coming in for the 3 safety sets.

Jenkins 84 %
Vaccaro 81%
Bush 53%

Well Harper missed most of the season with injury and was brought back slowly so I'm not sure if snap count tells us much.

We also played some 4 safety sets in our dime package with KV, RH, MJ and RB.

Vaccaro also played NB, SS and FS.

Re: Saints cut Isa Abdul-Quddus

Harper may be back, only at a much reduced rate...

Jenkins will get someone to overpay for his services...

But I prefer a ball-hawk at Safety to complement Kenny Vaccaro who, even as a Rookie, seems to be a lock-down backstop player...

With Rafael Bush, you've got one great rotation...

Every safety we have was injured at some point and missed games.

I like Bush and Vaccaro as a tandem, but Harper has some specialty roles he fits in well. Personally I think Jenkins is more of a liability than Harper. I just bash Harper as much as I can for you Danno
