yeah, SEA's pluses are thier team efficiency is #1 , and OL is #9. Mainly because of their defense.
Saints have a #7 OL, but I think its better than that, now. Saints team efficiency is #4, not that far off in the NFL. I agree with most that if we win in the tenches ス of the time, our D will shut down the SEA offense and keep them to below 17pts.
Thats why the SEA vs NO game shocked me and everyone else, it was a complete fluke to be beat that bad.
SEA is not a more well rounded team than NO, at least by the numbers or history.

Having Keenan Lewis in this game is very important, becaue it would give us 1-3 more 3 and outs than we would normaly get, and I think lowers the SEA's time of possession. IF he plays its a huge plus for NO. That kid has serious passion.
I cant wait to see how he and Vaccaro progress going into next season. Lewis is still fairly young and I think he is yet to hit his ceiling.

Um, last time I checked we will be playing both their offense and their defense. Those stats are accurate but don't really help tell the truth. The truth is that their offense does score and against most defenses this year it was early and relatively often.

Without Lewis, we'd likely lose. The Cardinals won with a heavy-weight D that basically kept Seatte out of the end zone almost all night (their secondary owned Golden Tate and Jermaine Kearse), a decent run game, some questionable but favorable calls by the refs, and some luck.

Our coverage on the back-end will need to be perfect, because the game plan will be to stop the run and make Wilson try to beat us through the air. I like the plan -- but Wilson is very accurate ( not deadly but good especially when it counts ) even on the run. This will be the game of our defense's lives -- if we win. They will basically have to shut down the Seattle offense -- because our offense is going to have their hands full.

I think we can do it. We will have to play like this is our Super Bowl because basically it is. If we can take these a-holes out -- I predict we will go to the Super Bowl and win.

Shutdown defense in 2017 = Championship!

Vaccaro is so violent and territorial, love that he takes things personally. Their going to be a very good duo next season. Lewis loves the game.

But what I think happened in SEA is simple. SP and Brees saw the SEA offence wasnt that good, and got egotistic. We've had the best offense for 7 years in the NFL. They probably lauphed at SEA's stats, I would.
Then Brees ego, which can be big, showed up, and got his @ss kicked. Im sure every drive he was dumbfounded why his greatness couldnt win. Because he forgot its a team sport.
Im sure the team was waiting for Brees to pull it off, and forgot its a team sport.
Like they keep saying " As long as we have Brees we have a chance"...

.. um no ..as long as we have you, and the team plays we have a chance. Brees is just 1 piece. Thats why we got blown out, I think.

Saints proved that pigs could fly in 2009.
Now its time for another miracle SuperBowl and go where no pig has gone before.

nope, because their defense shuts down the opposing offense, the SEA offence has lots of chances to convert, and make TDs, but they are not a very good offense. Pretty simple, and acounts for their failure in the stats. Many tries, and wins. That offense has failed alot.

Lewis is key, totally agree. Much more than people think.

Wilson is rated below Colin Kaepernick in the air. Thats saying something. Your right though, hes smarter, and can get 1st downs with his feet.

We completely agree on this. IF the Saints play to their ability. The offense shows up, and defense plays to theirs, their is no team that can beat us to get to the Super Bowl, and no one knows that.
A #5 defense can easily hold SEA in check, while the # 1-2 offense goes to work.
But they both have to show up at the same time, and thats never happened on the road. And no ego.

Im not sure ppl understand that the SEA defense is pretty close to the Ravens Defence that won a SB with a horrible offense. Brees cant mess up, even once.

Hell yeah, His departure was the only reason the game was as close as it was.
