Centurylink Crowd Noise

Here is my thunked on it.

Season Tickets end with week 17s game. So season ticket holders will have to buy new tickets at a much higher price. The blow article states that Seattle playoff tickets are the most expensive in the NFL AVE $416/ticket and box seats going in the neighborhood of $2000 a piece.
Seahawks-Saints tickets are most expensive of the playoffs - Seattle Seahawks & NFL News

For the most part it will probably be the same crowd but a large % of the Seahawks crowd will not. This could play in our favor as just the slightest drop in decibel level will help our offensive communications on the field.

I like your positive spin on this, but I think you're reaching a bit. You are saying the people that pay more for tix will be quieter? It will be loud, maybe not as loud as the first match up, but loud non the less.

I think they will be quieter...people that can afford that (and those are probably ****ty seats) are usually not the louder type...more like "golf clapping".

Re: Centurylink Crowd Noise

I think they'll be quieter because they already stomped our ass just 6 weeks ago. They proved they are a badass team and don't have to prove it again.

Now we're back and I'll bet there are a lot more nervousness about it this time. I think more worry = less noise.

Basically they blew their wad in the 1st game.

What I am saying is that people that can only afford a $75 ticket and people that can afford a $400 ticket are perhaps a little different LOL. Some guy that just shelled out $800 for tickets for he and his date is going to care more about not getting thrown out that a guy that dropped $150 for a pair of tickets.

The $400 crowd is possibly a little less likely to show up drunk and scream their heads off. They also cant afford as much beer during the game

Absolute worst fan I have ever sat by was some Jackwagon that bought his ticket off of Craigslist for $35.

There is also a huge Corporate Entertainment market for post season tickets and no one acts the arse in front of their customers. You will get the same celebrationafter a TD but hopefully not as much noise pre-snap.

I hope you are right, but it WAS a playoff game crowd in 2010 that showed up on the Richter scale when Lynch made his run.

Re: Centurylink Crowd Noise

I agree! Just like any other stadium , if we come out and get up on them by a couple of scores , then the crowd will not be a factor . Just got to play solid Saints football and we can do it!!

Re: Centurylink Crowd Noise

I think it will be quieter because of:
1. game time, 1:30 local
2. rain- harder to clap and stomp wet hands and feet
3. in their minds they have already won; why bother yelling about it?
4. wind- the 45 mph winds will carry their voices into Puget Sound

Yea I think that's a reach.. if I pay 400 I will cheer even louder and majority won't be saints fans so it still won't help.
