I was looking at the schedule, and I doubt we'll win even one more game. I mean, we got a chance against Carolina at home and Tampa at home, but that's it.
How did we get progessively worse since our playoff win? What moves do we need to make this off season to improve?

Yeah, well unlike two years ago, we can blame this whole season on bad luck. Maybe the Tampa and Minnisota game, but otherwise, we\'ve been gettin\' whipped on!
And I don\'t think a draft pick helps us much, unless we trade it away. The only benefit to tanking the rest of the season is those 3 games we\'ll get against other 4th place teams next season.

Yeah, but it\'s a whole lot easier for one player to turn around a basketball team than it is for one player to turn around a football team. Besides, San An had Robinson who just happened to be hurt that year. PLUS, they won it in a lockout year. That doesn\'t count! ;)

No point talking about a decision to tank the rest of the season. What difference would that make? It looks the staff already decided that in August. I think we\'ll be lucky to win one game against Carolina, but that\'s it. And yes, I was optimistic at the beginning of the year. D\'Oh!

Usually I would say that they will rally for the coach and win enough games to mess up the first round pick, but still miss the playoffs. Not this team. They are terrible and they dont care if they win again this season, so why should I.

G, you may be right on not winning the rest of year. As for what we need next year -- we\'ve got to rebuilt the offensive line by getting some young, fast, big o-tackles.

Yeah, but how do we get them? Is there anyone (or more than one) in college that stand out? I still say we trade away the draft pick. Duece isn\'t gonna want to stay around if we can\'t get someone to block for him.

FYI - the Saints have a history of losing at home under Haslett. They\'re below .500 at home in this era.

I don\'t know all I know is Tampa has never sweeped us yet in our division hope it does not happen this year. This is one streak I hope to continue. Thats one thing we can proud of. I know it is not much but whatever. I may be wrong but it seems Brooks does not give a hell no more either I see no passion. Any moron knows you don\'t lateral to duece like that when pressure is coming. I mean take the intentional grounding penalty and throw it away but not that.

Look, at least this year we know half way through that we have 0 chance of getting into the playoffs. Doesn\'t hurt as much as when Carney misses an XP.

We need to realize that any wins from here out are water under the bridge and a step away from a better draft pick for whomever comes in to run the show. We suck at home under Haz (props to WhoDat) and we collapse like a third world government in the second half of the season.

I for one am hoping we just keep \'em close and pull out wins where we can. But with this bunch, I think fighting for pride left quite a bit ago.
