We need a kick/punt returner..I would love to get either one..Mccluster would be ideal because he's a Mississippi boy and younger plus he can play some wide out. but Devin Hester is still dangerous
and would have no issues focusing mainly on returning kicks and punts

neither.. but I guess I'd choose Hester . We did just sign someone for futures contract who I believe was speedy. We sign a Kr then what do we do with Cadet?

I want to see us draft a KR, have him work along Sproles, take the workload off his back and let Sproles retire next year.

I have been hoping for Oher for a while now. He could play either left or right tackle and I don't thing he will demand a huge contract. He may be the best bet for the money.

Remember this...We were in the,top 5 in 3 and outs...
The addition of Hester would be huge..It instantly affects your field position with a guy like that.Either they kick it to him and he burns em or they avoid him and give up the field position.And he's use to the cold.

I don't want to see us spend money on a returner.I want us to find one in the draft.

So many kicks are going out the back of the end of end zone and add that to a Special Team that cant cover for toffee spending money on a returner is a waste.
Let the CB and WR battle it iut in camp.

This team needs a real returner...Not a project..If you have a defense that get as many 3 and outs as we got...On days like Saturday..I wish we had a True Return man..

Here's the thing sometimes a player on his way out will play well in a fresh start. Remember Sharper? He was exceptional in 09, and people were saying he was over the hill. Hester playing in a dome and on a new team where he will learn new patterns and defenses having to account for that, he would get away with it for one year. What people don't realize is the learning curve is after the first year, todays defenses are thrown off by new players and new schemes. Then in the offseason, they study it up and thats where the falloff starts. Hester being in a new place could help him play better, not to mention he would also get to eat different food.

The most glaring needs in the draft is WR, C, RT, and CB. Outside of those, its best to find the lesser pieces in FA. I wouldnt want to waste a draft pick on a kick returner over something more important. Kick returning shouldnt be that big of a need and its worth taking a chance on with someone that has a good history with it.

Why are we looking elsewhere for something we already have... I never understood why we didn't try Joe Morgan @ kick returner....

But then when he gets hurt, we're ****ed. Morgan is good, but I wouldnt say he's elite or will step up everytime. But KR we don't know how he would do.
