As Saint fans that understand our team fairly well as most of us demonstrate in posts here, we recognize when the Saints are about to pump the ball to Graham...

Surely, good teams recognize formations, tendencies, tells that give that away that same information...

Definitely, understand the frustraton that Graham didn't seem to want it more; however, I've postponed judgement as I said previously - It's time Graham give wink and there be disclosure about the plantar fascia injury; and how it affected his ability to fight for the ball, position et al...

As I've rewatched the @Seattle playoff game again, saw inaccurate throws (i.e. wrong side of the body, behind the receiver, hesistated throws, etc) by Brees that give me continued concern about Brees' arm strength/accuracy and the decline in same since his rehab regime coming to the Saints...

In fact, I think Brees needs to see a shoulder specialist well in advance of next season to see if there is something he could do to intensify, or even just adjust his workout to possibly reinvigorate that reconstructed shoulder...

So I can't hang those INT's on Graham so easily without having as much information as Coach Payton will allow us to share about the injury...

But the blocking, you are correct, sir; in fact, it would be best if he were tasked not to block to there is no video footage of it for latter embarrassment...

Phone in hand......

He leaps in the air and dunks a football over field-goal posts every TD. Tell me again how bad he is injured.

FWIW Jimmy Graham expends more energy and looks a bit more athletic and brutal in his post dunk TDs and post catch flexes than he does in a fair amount of his missed balls.

This has zero to do with it being Jimmy Graham, I don't let my daughters out of cleaning their room just because they "don't feel good", when I just saw them running and playing either.

I didn't say "in the league" on the INTs, that # was for the Saints only, that's why I used Drew's name.

"Hurts more to run than to jump"... Your reaching brother. Does it also hurt more to catch than to dunk?

If your foot hurts even from a toe nail you want to minimize how often 275 lbs comes down on it.

Before I am corrected that is +10 for pads and helmet.

LOL

Have to agree, lol, he should definitely cut down on the dunks and save them for effect, but he's springing off the good foot; (wait for it) it's like the thing in Basketball - where he can't geaux left...

But, pardon the broken record thingy, the injury should be disclosed now that the season is over - fans, PAYING, fans of tickets, merchandise, subscriptions are owed an explanation of what he endured (or not) and I'd like to give him the benefit of the doubt...

We are not "owed" anything of personal nature by any NFL players or coaches. The only parties that owed information like that are teams that are hoping to sign or trade for a player we have. it is none of my business what any of our players hurt during the season; if its divulged because they miss a game then great, but nothing is owed.

If he can spring off 1 foot for a dunk, he can spring off the same foot for a catch.

I have said a few times the play that is missing from our repertoire is the pass that is thrown at the corss-bar where only Jimmy can get it. Instead of throwing to Jimmy's numbers as he runs laterally across the back of the endzone, lob the jump ball so it comes down 2 feet in-front of the goal post. He is a frikken basketball player for Christs sake!

As a consumer, if they want my money, I want to know what I'm paying for - so we'll just continue to disagree on that point...

Now, on the design play for Graham, I don't fault Colston for the Catch & Pray...

But I did ask myself just after the game, why didn't we instruct the receivers to get out of bounds at the 50-S45 yd line on the second to last play and run a hail mary with Graham, Colston leaping and Toon screening?!?

WTF is gonna stop that?!?

On the first point, I would argue that we pay for entertainment and not rights... If you buy a steak you have purchased no rights to know about the cook. So we disagree.

The question about the last play is valid but it digs a little deeper in my view, and it gets back to coaching, but who is it on? We tend to hand everything on SP but there is an OC and a receivers coach that should have grabbed Colston and told him get OB ASAP. Sean Payton calls the plays but he is not tied to fundamental football such as laces out for a FG, be prepared for an onside kick, get OB as soon as you catch the pass; he is focused on a higher tier of the game.

True, it is entertainment; but there is a right to good faith in the product; if you geaux to see Die Hard you expect to see Bruce Willis schlepping his arse along the screen with a trail of blood while he takes out the neobrotherhood of the new world order of scientology, not Roddy Piper with a James Earl Jones voiceover wearing special sunglasses that reveal the true enemy...

And another big reason why the NFL is so serious about the injury report is not just to avoid corruption from high dollar gamblers, but because they've been compelled under threat of consumer lawsuit to disclose, and still further, and more importantly, under workman's compensation laws, to be transparent regarding same - anyways...

Back to the coaching, we've definitely taken a hit on the coaching staff the past few years; and though they're popular with Coach Payton, we've done a pi$$-poor job developing linebackers (Vitt) and the Kicking Game Bag is mixed...

I think we found out how good an offensive line coach Kromer truly is; Wesley McGriff and Andre Curtis needs a steak dinner for the way they pulled that unit together...

Getting the feeling Jimmy's agent is gonna want to make a statement with his contract and/or status as a Tight End...

Do you think Jimmy will give a home team discount? He's said he doesn't want to play with any other QB besides Drew. I wonder how far that will go?
