"They tried to but the Saints kept fumbling and missing the interviews and Haslett didn't know what to call, although he thought that the effort to interview was good".

Michael Lewis did field a question but quickly made his way to the side of the stage.

Brooks showed up at the wrong conference.
McAllister was slow getting there, missed it.
Horn took a wrong turn on the way there, missed it.
No one told Donte where to go, missed it
Boo couldn\'t figure out how to open the door, missed it.
Riley left early, and missed it.
Gandy stated he was going to HOLD all interviews.
Holland and Jacox were swamped, missed it.

None of our defense showed up because coach told them they were going to have to TACKLE some tough questions and coach wanted them to COVER any and all topics raised by reporters. They all decided it was in their best interest to AVOID CONTACT with the reporters.
