San Fran finally got their payback from the Saints

I still remember the taste of the playoff loss to the 49ers in 2011. We win that game and we more than likely have 2 Super Bowl rings in 3 seasons.

I would like to let anyone who likes the 49ers know that your season just ended - largely due to the Saints - and here's how:

1) If the Saints had not came from behind and beat the 49ers 23-20, the 49ers would have finished 13-3 (tied with the Seahawks) and would have won the West and the #1 seed. With the NFCCG in SF, the 49ers would have won tonight.

2) if the Saints had beat the Seahawks in the regular season, the same case could be made as above. We would have been in a 4 way tie at 12-4 with the Seahawks, 49ers and Panthers and would have the tiebreaker over ALL of them. As #1 seed, nobody was beating us in the Dome. However, SF would have won the West and would have had Seattle in SF.

3) had we knocked out the Seahawks last week, the Saints would have had to travel to SF and it would have been HARD to win there, especially considering they think we screwed them on the Brooks roughing call on Brees. By the Saints losing, SF had to travel.

As bad as it is that the Saints are not playing again until next season, I am so glad I don't have to see the 49ers in another Super Bowl.

Now....... GO BRONCOS (hope Peyton throws 8 TDs on Sherman)

arsaint, not likin g SF is one thing, but having them go to the SB this and lose to PManning and the DenBroncs would have ok. Still, for SF, back to back years in SB and losing sounds like a good record to me least they got there.

I DO NOT want SEESEA to have a 50% chance of winning against PManning and Denver and now they do.

SeaSeahawks are a nasty peice of work professionally and personally. Russell Wilson is a good guy. The rest act like savages. That Sherman, yuck!

Sorry, I've got a permanent hate on for the 49ers. If they finished 0-16 every year for the rest of my life (barring games where them winning would help the Saints) that would be fine with me.

The Seahawks don't play in the kind of cold they will in during the Super Bowl.

Advantage Broncos.

As long as San Fran and New England never win another and Atlanta continues to never sniff one I will be a happy man. Those 3 teams can all fall off a cliff for me.

I am afraid SS might ,just could win. It could be a really bad game for PManning.
He better be really protected his o-line and fast.

SF, kind of knew what to expect.

SS?

Sherman is a punk, but I'll take him being in the big dance over Whitner and Krapperwick and Harbarf and a dozen other obnoxious 69ers...

I hate all other teams in the NFC. I used to "kinda like" the Pats -- but that's over.

I really dislike Seattle but I absolutely hate San Fran. Davis is a mouth piece, Kaepernick is a massive douche, Donte Whitner targets receivers heads and actually thought it was newsworthy to announce he was changing his name to 'Hitner'...and then there's Harbaugh. Harbaugh is a screaming, wailing, man sized bag of sh*t and I actually think it's funny that Sherman made an ass of himself calling out Crabtree like that right after Harbag said he had the best hands of all time.

I hate all NFC teams and pretty much all AFC teams. I kinda like the Browns but they're harmless.

Sorry buddy but that Payton manning does not play well in the cold has been disproved when manning dropped a 51 burger on the Titans with temps in the teens. 4 TD passes and 400 yards.

temps were 18-14 f

Super Bowl losers (with the exception of the Buffalo Bills) rarely make it back the next year. SF didn't, so now it's time for Seattle to lose

Schmo...he's played pretty good in Denver the past two seasons in the cold; I'd say he's acclimated and prepared for the game...

Seattle would not have made it to the NFCCG as a wild card. That was probably the one team Carolina could have beaten considering the seahawks held them down in the same place in the opener. And we could have won in SF though, it would have been us at Carolina in the NFCCG.

Besides the antics of Sherman I just can't support the Seahawks fans. That scene with the injured 49er getting food tossed at him really hits a low. Also can't imagine Alaska's wife showing any love for Seattle either.
Slim pickings but as I said before I'm going with Archie's kid.
