Ryan Grant 6-1 190lbs Tulane

Great Hands, Maybe the Best Route Runner in Draft, Fearless Going Across the Middle... Hum... Lance Moore replacement. In any case, there should be a bunch of WR undrafted FA around.

01/25/2014 - 2014 Senior Bowl, Helped Themselves: Ryan Grant, WR, Tulane - At a rock-solid 6-0, 197 pounds, Grant showed surprising burst, as well as the agility as a route-runner and reliable hands to out-play several more highly-touted pass-catchers. A long touchdown during Wednesday's practice drew plenty of praise from scouts.

Strengths: One of the more underrated pass catchers in the country. Grant has quick hands, smooth coordination and wins with timing and precision in his routes to create just enough room to work. Natural hands catcher.

Grant is definitely a top-100 candidate and he deserves to be talked about more at the national level, but holding onto the ball and finishing catches will go a long way toward making this happen.

Here's the Interview I had with him at the Senior Bowl

We've got a Lance Moore replacement, His name is Kenny Stills. If you bring Joe Morgan back healthy, the deep game ( ala Devery Henderson, Robert Meacham) will return.... Which leaves you with one replacement possibility..... Colston, which means you will have to go after something you haven't had in Shawn Payton's time here..... and that's a true #1 receiver and I honestly don't think that is gonna happen you may get a nice addition...... Maybe Like a Jordan Matthews, or a Jarvis Landry... but it won't be a #1 cornerstone... like Colston, or better.

You only got WRs because we have a 4th ranked D already.

That's all SP is going to draft ;)

Let's not get caught up in what we ranked last season... Houston was the number 1 ranked overall defense in 2012, where did that get them in 2013.

The defense is damn good. but it is not special yet....... the way to make it special is to continue the 2013 offseason trend... We now know exactly what we are gonna need defensively to be great for a long time... On defense, you might be three players away!

I agree with you! Just pointing out he is going to draft WRs. ;)

The car doesn't need bumpers or seats, pour all the $ into the engine and transmission.
