Where's Whitehead

Has anyone heard any rumors on what we're planning on doing with Whitehead? Is he healthy? I don't think he's our savior, but he should be able to help. Especially if we use him at the Defensive Coordinator Position.

Good question - where is freak boy? I always liked him and thought he played good ball last year in place of Howard.

Whitehead is currently on the Physically unable to perform list... at leas thats the last I heard of him...

Yeah, and then starting at week 8, they had a couple of weeks to evaluate him, and see if he could, would, or should play.
I\'m just wondering what\'s up now.

WHITEHEAD BACK: Defensive lineman Willie Whitehead practiced for the first time and said he hopes to be activated for Sunday\'s game.

Whitehead passed a physical Wednesday. The club has three weeks to make a decision. They have three options: activate him, release him or place him on injured reserve, which would end his season.

\"They want to see how it goes at practice this week before making a decision,\" Whitehead said. \"The knee feels good, though. I\'m ready to play.\"

The Saints would need to release a player to make room for Whitehead on the 53-man active roster.
