Where is the LSU boy Henderson?? He has to have learned the system by now. Since Stallworth is such a bust, why not move Henderson to #3 receiver and Pathon up to #2, which he deserves. Bench Stallworth since he really doesn't make a difference anyway.

I agree...all the off season conditioning has kept him healthy....but...HOW BOUT CATCHING THE DAMN BALL!!!...........#19 should be given a chance....and Pathon has shown nothing but HEART.......................can someone see if Poole still wants to play.....or maybe Quin Early is in town..... :o ....when will the owner realize that this is not a track meet...and we actually have to CATCH THE BALL!!!!..... :P

Frankly, I don\'t think Stallworth has played all that poorly. I think he\'s continued to sell out when he gets led into monster hits. I don\'t blame the guy for dropping a few - you might too if you were having balls coming at you at 80 miles an hour, often way up in the air, from 7 yards away, and you\'d been drilled in the head thanks to a QB who likes to run his WRs into safeties half a dozen times a game. Honestly, I might hear footsteps too.

Stallworth shouldn\'t be running quick slants. He needs to be in space and sprinting under bombs. I blame most of his failures this season to a coaching staff that can\'t figure out how to use its weapons and a QB who can\'t throw the types of balls Stallworth needs to get.

Where\'s that guy from Seattle that was talking trash at the beginning of the season? I saw \"The Hit\" this past weekend, and you could plainly see where Hamlin\'s whole body went limp immediately afterwards, backing Stallworth\'s claim that Ken did receive the worst of it. Still was a helluva hit.
How often do we throw the long ball? This is not a verticle offense, which takes away the need for speed. Henderson would not help at this moment.

Agree with BnB. Stallworth is supposed to be a deep threat, but the play calling never sends him deep. Also, yea catch it when it comes to you, but Brooks hasn\'t really been throwing 83\'s way.

The production of Stallworth and Henderson is a direct result of COACHING under utilizing their strengths. A VERY GOOD COACH will take advantage of that. Yes Stallworth drops a few but I think that’s because the routes he runs sometimes gets him killed and than he make a spectacular one hand grab. If Henderson is slow learning the playbook – take what he knows and have at it. This is a perfect example of the Saints GREAT coaching staff and how they use first round picks!!!!! They disgust me!!!!!

PS: Protection for Brooks needs to some part of this equation

What I wonder is, I see qbs like Carr and Leftwich getting creamed and still throwing it deep. I have yet to see David Carr stand in a pocket and have all day to throw the ball, yet he still gets it deep. Houston\'s pass protection is just as shoddy as ours. What\'s the deal? It has to be the coaches not being willing to sell out for the big play. And since I live in Texas now I see Houston a lot so I know their pass protection is horrible.

It is very hard to have a vertical offense if the safeties don\'t need to worry about defending the run. They can just cover deep all day.
With that said I do believe Stallworth has been playing that poorly. He was the first receiver taken at 13th in 2002. Has he lived up to that?!
Ashley Lelie, and Javon Walker were taken 19 and 20 in 2002, and compare their play to our boy.
Yes I\'m being hard on Stallworth, but why shouldn\'t I.
Just because we\'re Saints fans doesn\'t mean we have to settle for mediocrity from our highly touted players.

That\'s tru fact-o-bake but the players you mentions have better offensive cordinators that are agrressive enough to take those shots down field
