This year there are a lot of good ones and one of these guys will be on the board when we select. I also think at that pick they will be the BPA from what I have seen at the combine so far.

He did do that so, lets see what he does on this yr's draft

I'm hoping for help in the secondary.

Re: COMBINE: WR's

then again he may have ran himself into the top 25 and we do not get a shot at him.

Brandin Cooks looks like he would fit that role also.

Mike Evans 4.47 say what? dam

then you got mighty mouse

John Brown, Pittsburg State 5-10, 179, 4.34 looked great. PR and KR to boot.

some really nice small school players again this year

BOOM!!! Defense first....

+1. You saw it too? Evans along with Kelvin Benjamin are every bit of 6'5 maybe even 6'6/235+lbs and can run sub 4.5.

Freakish.

Official time for Mike Evans was 4.53.

That old man doing the unofficial times needs to be retired.

Manziel unofficial time 4.56s / official time 4.68s
Sammy Watkins unofficial time 4.34s / official time 4.43

How is it track events and the Olympics can post an official time in a matter of seconds, but the NFL takes hours.

Seems like the NFL is doing a fair job of picking whos stock should rise...

What about Donte Moncrief, out of Ole Miss? If somehow he falls to the the 3rd round, I don't see how we could pass him up.

right here is a thread that gives a solid reason why the saints should consider trades. this is the type of draft a team with multi picks all over the board has a really excellent chance of upgrading the teams depth for when our 30 year olds move on and those in their last year of the contract.. It can addressing the cap issues right away also for the next 3 to 4 years.

there are some that did not make the combine also that will surprise a bunch of people at their pro days.

Dont forget how good our defense was in spite of injuries to players that will be on the field this year.

When we lost to the Panthers the second go-round it was due to a lack of points on the board, not a lack of defense. The same could be said for the Jets, Rams, and Seattle in the Divisional. In nearly all of those losses, Drew threw for only 1 TD.

I look at possible performance gain per draft pick. Is one d-back going to move you from the 4th best defense to the 1st best defense and is moving from 4th to first going to guarantee you more wins? 4th to first is a small jump in terms of rankings but a huge leap in terms of defensive talent.

The Bengals were 3rd, what did they do? Seattle did what they did in 2013 in large part due to their offense just didn't screw up and fall on their face as often as ours did.

Re: COMBINE: WR's

Our defense is 2, 3 players away from becoming dominant. Address the cornerback spot opposite Lewis, get another beast along side Jordan/Junior and add another safety for depth (Bush/KennyV) and we are contending for a Super Bowl spot.
