Where is this 'Stills is Moore's replacement' idea coming from?! I see it all the time but the two are nowhere near the same type of receiver. If last season was any indication then Stills is way more of a deep threat type of WR... A better version of Joe Morgan.

I think Drew or Sean said something along the lines of "Stills is a bigger version of Lance Moore". And if one of them said it, I take it as gold [takes sip of Koolaid]!

Receiver in the first? Sean loves his toys. He will get one early I am sure.

Now that you mention it I vaguely remember seeing one of them say that. They know better than I do... I just never thought the two were comparable. I see Stills as a replacement for Henderson/Meachem/Morgan... In other words, a fast WR who can hopefully develop into a more sharp route runner.

Anybody else appreciate the excellent blocking on that play?

I think Stills is closer to Lance Moore than he is a Henderson or Morgan.
And that's a good thing. Actually I think he is a fair combination of both types, he's got the shiftiness that Moore had and the big play threat.

I like Joe Morgan a lot if healthy - but he has never been healthy. $1.5 million is a lot to spend on a player with more games spent on IR than career catches.
jeanpierre and Schmohams like this.

his stats for the season - 1 catch, 4 yards, 4 drops and 2 interceptions came off those dropped passes when he batted them up in the air

no thanks...

I absolutly have nothing against Morgan, AA could not stay healthy but if Morgan could I would be all for keeping him, dynamic when healthy!! Looks like a WR in the 2nd or a FA!!
