Honestly, I'm okay with both Robinson and White as our 2 and nickle. We have way too many needs on the offensive line and I still think we need to bring in a young playmaker at receiver via the draft.

Selfishly, Revis if there was cap room. But at this point OLine... OLine... OLine... Keep Brees upright.

Tarell Brown is young and the guy would be a good pick up for use

Robinson needs a chance to prove he is a starter, he wasn't drafted to be nickel. I give him a pass when Spags was here. Now is the time for him to show if he is worth his draft status. We have no idea what this guy would have looked like under Rob Ryan, for all we know he might have finished the season very strong and could have easily stepped in for Greer. Here is hoping.

He started last years preseason as the starter opposite Lewis anyway. After he got hurt and placed on IR is when Greer took back the starting spot...

Dude, I agree with you. In no way was I implying that PRob should be a nickle back. I mentioned this in a previous post, but I do think Loomis and Payton have an idea as far as what Robinson can contribute this season. Right now I think the number 2 corner spot is his unless he struggles. I too give Robinson a pass for his god awful 2012 campaign. If the cornerback position was a major need I'm sure that they would have addressed that first before they went after Byrd.

PRob? talent is there injury bug is too. One year left on his contract, is the gamble worth it? could have a solid season or be in the tub. I have to air on caution and say Draft a solid prospect early in the draft. His cap numbers would more than pay for the draft pick if you did cut PRob before or during the season. If he does well your stuck with two solid CB so if he walks at the end of the year you have a fall back plan. either way its a win win.

Tarell Brown is 29, which I wouldn't call young by NFL standards; and we've got two that are developing nicely in that slot...

If you want a major upgrade there - look to the draft...
