Im reading some Saints fans loosing their mind over a possible cut/trade for Sproles. Have a look at the stats,its the right time to make the break.Stats down ever one of his three years.Its fair to say there would be a drop off from 2011 and he was breaking record for all purpose yards but to drop from 13 game 2012 to 15 games and less numbers in 2013 is a issue

I would take a 6th, no question.
End of the day, there is only ONE football, and we are usually throwing it (60% of the time)
For the past 3-4 years we have carried 4 backs that could have easily had 5-6 more carries a game. Our backs will be better with more touches, and losing one will not hurt us. We also no longer have the luxury to allot that much cash to RB

problem is, that's not how business works
we offered him a restructure, he turned it down, time to move on

although every day he is still on the roster I think is a day closer till we find a way to keep him.
