I don't agree. Byrd certainly wanted his payday (and rightfully so), but he also wanted out of Buffalo because he was sick of being on losing teams. That's why he joined the Saints.. He wanted to win. I don't think somebody who is actively looking to join a winning organization would just quit because he's now been paid. |
