Not the Legion of Boom. The Dime Patrol!

Seattle is the Legion of Holding. Next year, the Legion of FOLDING.

I hate Seattle. More than Steve Smith.

It is a copycat league. HOWEVER we play a very different scheme with 3 safeties and that and the fact that Byrd is an elite player at the position is key to the move we made . I think that we will go after a vet CB and also draft one. Brandon Browner is being mentioned and might be available on a one year minimal deal.

If Browner is signed surely it signals the end of Robinson.
Could save $1.4ml from cutting him.

So anybody that tries to build up a good secondary is supposedly "copying" Seattle? WTF is that?

Our defense isn't much like Seattle's at all. They play two safeties, we most often play 3. They play a bunch of cover 1 stuff with man-to-man across the board, we play combo coverages with man on one side and zone on the other. They play 4-3 base all the time, we seem to play everything from a 4-3 to a 3-4 to a 3-3-5 and a 4-6 depending on what time of day it is and what toppings Rob Ryan had on his hotdog before the game. It's really not that similar at all. Both defenses have a bunch of good players and that's about where the similarities end.

I don't like being compared to the Seahawks. I prefer to say that the Saints are becoming a better version of themselves. We don't need to be anybody else, and we don't need a stupid nick name.
