I cried myself to sleep last night after watching how well Trotter played. I hate that we didn't even attempt to sign him. How stupid are the guys in the front office to not go after him. Think of how good our line backers would have been if we would have signed Ian Gold and Trotter.

As an avid smoker myself, how in the HELL did you do it?? Cold turkey?? the patch?? Chinese water torture??

On a side note, your posts have actually seemed rather chipper/positive lately!! Exact opposite of what I\'d have thought knowing the stress from quitting.

Cold turkey, and it hurts. I smoked for 12 years straight. My ears feel like they are on fire, and I don\'t mind bringing everyone in the office down with me.

I told Halo I\'ve been avoiding posting, for fear that I blow again like I did on Monday. It\'s not fun...

Football season, lord what a time to try and quit...

Personally, if I live that long, I\'m gonna wait until football\'s over and there\'s nothing but the NBA on. Figure then, due to disinterest, I can just sleep through the withdrawal...

But good luck BnB ... my dad quit cold turkey 12 years ago, and he keeps telling me that\'s the way to go.

Glad you quit.......another win with everyone saying how bad we f up and not celebrating the victory..........and Phillip Morris will be calling your name. Personally I would like to see you increasing your cig intake. It will put you out of my misery sooner.

The Doc told me to quit drinking beer and smoking those darn cigs. Got the smoking down to only 3 or 4 cigs a day, stopped drinking beer for a freaking month. The only problem is my visit to the doc was during preseason. Yeah, it is very easy to either quit or reduce that stuff during preseason. Once the season started kicking in, all heck broke loose. Back to smoking almost a pack a day, drinking a 12 pack of beer every night, and fighting with the wife all the time. Well...
