What about a player for Speacial Teams?

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Our ST has done nothing for a while. I haven't got up and got excited about them in quite sometimes. I think we could get a boost there to help things out....

We need a dynamic return man. I wasn't at all opposed to Devin Hester, but that ship sailed.

Its not the return man that's been the issue imo.
Sproles may have lost a slight step but him and Cadet can return. Something needs done with the blocking upfront.
There was a big jump on the defensive side of things last year so hopefully a similar improvement on offense this year.

I don't think sproles will return kicks or punts this year. Haha. I would like to see improvement in the run game, but overall, I think our offense is pretty bad ass.

Re: What about a player for Speacial Teams?

Both are reflections of the quality of depth on the team.

want to improve kick coverage. need to improve LB depth they are also key on kick returns

want better blocking on kick returns? improve the depth we have on the OL and TE positions across the board.

If you can not seal the middle of the field your out side guys are useless.

This off season quality depth must be added to LB position. that will have biggest and quickest impact for for both units

Cadet? i am all but done riding this band wagon. if he can not contribute on offense he not worth keeping as a return man.

Players are fine.

McMahon needs to go. He has proven he is incapable of coaching our ST. Besides the less than average showing he has failed to ensure we were looking for onside kicks a few times, then there was the laces issue.

Why waste time going find a return guy when goodell's trying to do away with KO's and PR's.

I've yet to see any replacement for the punt.

It seems like every time we get a decent return there is always a flag and it's always on the saints. PLEASE FIRE MCMAHON!
