If we had any interest in him we would have tried to work him into the deal with Sproles I would imagine.

There are seriously only a few player in the NFL that I cannot stomach, and DeSean Jackson is at the top of that list. But with that said, he could help the Saints in a big way, so if Loomis is able to pull it off then great.

Would love to have him. Our other receivers immediately become so much more lethal.

I agree that he's probably too expensive, but he can run across the middle just fine. And then he can take a 5 yd slant 90 yds too. He's good. And if Brees was throwing him the ball he'd be great.

Pass...he quits too much unless he knows the ball is coming his way and does not like to go across the middle...reminds me of how Randy Moss was before he joined N.E...

Also...if you had to choose between Jackson and Graham...who would you choose? I'd choose Graham every time...Jackson is not worth 10M/yr...neither is Graham but he is a TD machine especially in the redzone.

Very talented receiver with good numbers, but even if the Saints had the money, he seems too much of a prima dona for the Saints offense. Everybody has to do everything.

I'd take Desean over Jimmy.

I feel like Jimmy Graham is a product of our quarterback and play caller force feeding him the ball. I feel like that speed on the outside matched up with Stills and Morgan is more beneficial then a TE version of Marques Colston; whom might I add is way more willing to sacrifice his body and not alligator arm throws over the middle. Even if it means getting blown up. Who was playing TE in 2009? Jeremy Shockey on his last legs? The Packers won the next year without Jermichael Finley; just the super trio of Jennings, Driver, and Nelson. Which we could have with Desean, though I doubt we get him. The Giants won the next year. Who was their TE? I don't even know right now off the top of my head. Then the Ravens. Dennis Pitta and Ed Dickson? More like Anquan Boldin and Torrey Smith. And this year. The Seattle Seahawks. I'm just under the logic of WR being more important then TE. Which is why WR's get paid more then TE's by a large amount.

I know, you've made it pretty clear and I respect your opinion. I disagree with just about every word you typed, but I do respect your opinion.

I could throw a bunch of stats at you to show you that Graham has out produced Desean Jackson.

I could list all the tight ends and their numbers, that have played for Sean with Drew to show you that Graham isn't just another TE in the Payton/Brees system.

I could bring up lots of news reports of how Desean sat out of team meetings because he didn't want to go over the middle.

I could talk about how Desean announced to the press that he wanted a new contract less then two years after signing a 5 year deal that made him the 7th highest paid Wide out in the league.

I could show that Desean disappeared in more games than Graham this last season.

But I don't think you'd care about any of that.

So while I respect your opinion, I'd take Graham.
