I loved that game... Ricky was running wild on us that game. That Brees score certainly was an exclamation point. We arrived...

And even "GLORIOUS" is a terrible understatement. There are 4 sports moments I'll never (not ever) forget - ones I will tell my kids about.

1. BRAVES WIN! BRAVES WIN! The bullpen catcher hits it just past short stop in the bottom of the 9th. Sid Bream limps home from second, giving it all he had and then some, knee braces and all, to give the Braves a playoff win over Barry Bonds and the Pirates.


2. That blocked punt. I cried then. I was so proud of our team, our city, our state, our people. It was just beautiful. The fact that it happened against Atlanta..well...I mean what can you say? I hooped and hollered and rolled around on the floor with my dog, our good luck charm at the time who offered good things when his belly was properly scratched...and I probably frightened the neighbors.

3. Porter's INT in the Super Bowl to ice it and send Manning away, pouting. "THE SAINTS ARE GOING TO WIN THE SUPER BOWL!"


4. The FG at the end of the game against the Viks - the one that proved that Pigs DO fly and hell WILL freeze over from time to time. More rough-housing with the dog, tears, and another proud moment.
