3 QB---5 Wr---4 Hb---1Fb---3 Te---8 OL=24 as to who 25th player is could come down to health at a position. If Ryan wins 2nd Qb the 2Qb with Kilgore 3rd but on practice squad.who to be the 25th one they to keep is WR Brandon Coleman esp.- considering moves other teams doing in NFC south. As to other side 7 Dl the 6 from last year the 7th i see coming down to george uko or Lawrence Virgil an Rufus Johson who has the frame to play at 285 range an no way Rufus sticks at OLB.4 OLB an 4MLB an 5 CB an 5 SS/FS.Then one kicker one punter one long snap player.I see where rookie ufda Olb spencer Hadley can play LS an could be a upgrade over Drescher.Thats how i see the 53 roster.

Hen, you've got it all packed in there, put's some breaks in there, Brother - that's some interesting stuff...

But, don't mess with a long snapper, it's working; Hadley is a good story, but Shanle offered more...

Agree though that Rufus was about as much a LBer as Will Smith (Did the Saints really think that a slow, and now aging Will Smith could move to LB where speed is even more important or simply exit strategy?!?)...

If we keep McCown, then I suspect three QBs; the Saints are latched onto Ryan for sure; the new kid?!? We'll have to see come PreSeason...

If Ronald Powell is the goods - Butler or Haralson could be in for a real camp fight...

Is that guy Marcus Ball a physical freak or what?!?

It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...

Re: 2014 - New Orleans Saints Depth Chart

The year LS/ Drescher signed as a replacement ufda from Falclowns last cut.Yep he was the replacement for A LS they were trying to hide off 53 man roster as they were having a hard time cutin a aged vet LS an Seachikens snaped him up an has been very good LS with them,He was the highest rated LS rookie Saints lost to Seachicks.Point is Drescher is slow on coverage where the one lost to seahacks was just as good snapen but ran a 4.65 where Drescher comes in at 5.0 or slower.Old Pete has a eye for players. So let Hadley cross train as if he not ready this year then after a year on practice squad he could be in 2015.

Re: 2014 - New Orleans Saints Depth Chart

Rufus has the frame to go from 272 to 285 or 290 an be as fast as Foster or Jordan. It would be a crime to not try him as DE/DT.Saints kept 7 DL all last year an the 7th will be a camp fight between Virgil an Uko.To me Ruffus may have more upside at DE/DT.I would be shocked to see him make on the 53 roster at OLB/DE.Yes same as Will Smith was lost at OLB/DE same gos for Ruffus. Now at DE/DT it would be a even fight with ruffus coming out on top due to more upside.

Re: 2014 - New Orleans Saints Depth Chart

Saints if Ryan wins no#2 they cut McCown an Logans on off just like Canfield an Andy Tanner did. However i think McCowns plays good an above average back up Qb.I think Ryan should have been Drafted last year.Rams try"d hard to talk him in to signing on rams 53 roster when Bust Bradford was out for the year hurt as Jeff Fischer also has a eye for good players.I see it now as 50-50 if Ryan wins out no knock on him just MCCowns a very good 2nd QB.If Ryan wins before years out MCCown will be on another teams active roster.I see some good write ups on Logan but his sticking on practice squad depends on Ryan coming out on top between him an McCown. Two Qbs allow a extra WR or HB orTE or OL.But Ryans to good to clear waviers so if can not beat out MCCown saints keep 3 QBs.Saints go 25 for Payton an Jerry jones worst coach cut ever gets 25,then last 3 a kicker - punter-LS.

Goodwin beats out Lelito, Lelito slides back to guard; Very much want to see Lelito win the job and get some youth on that interior line...

Saw Papz post from PFF, three things stood out:

One, Rafael Bush is better than that assessment...

Two, Defensive Line, Expect Hicks, Jenkins, Jordan all to change upward this season in rapido fashion...

Third, the fact that Strief is the highest rated right tackle is laughable; happy for him, but it is laughable...

It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...
