this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; at this point our defense has a problem with its players. they suck and more then that they dont even try. this isnt a coaching problem on defense as much as our players just arent playing. im not saying this ...

at this point our defense has a problem with its players. they suck and more then that they dont even try. this isnt a coaching problem on defense as much as our players just arent playing. im not saying this entire year but ya know what this game right now they dont even care. and thats something that isnt tolerable as a fan.

Well, let\'s look at the Sammy Knights and La\'Roi Glovers and Grady Jacksons that Coach Haslett thought we could do without. Not to mention the free agents we allowed to fly willie nillie around the league without even tendering offers to any of a number who could have helped. So, it still comes back to Haslett. Your intial assumptions are right.
