Do we keep 12 DB's?
 

Vaccaro, Byrd, Bush, Sunseri, Ball, Warren and Zimmerman. Ryan loves three safeties on the field. I could see him keeping Six safeties on the roster for depth. Vaccaro can play the nickel corner if needed.
We will certainly have plenty of talent in camp for RR to evaluate at length.

We could keep six corners since Bailey and White can play safety if necessary.

Lewis, Bailey, White, Robinson, Baptiste, Sweeting, Wade, Frederick, Brooks and Dixon is who we have on the roster now. I see the first five as locks but that's just me.

I think we keep Vaccaro, Byrd, Bush, Ball and Sunseri. Ball and Sunseri are going to be great special teamers. Warren from what I've read can't play a lick.

Not terribly worried about depth because we have multiple corners who can play safety, and honestly our safeties play so much like corners with man-up coverage anyway it wouldn't be that big a change.

I don't see 6 safties, that would leave you thin somewhere else. You start dividing the 53 into 22 positions plus kickers and it will be hard to justify keeping that number.

Usually we keep 25 on defense, maybe 26 since most special teams players are defense, but last year we only had 24 on defense amke the 53.

8 LB
9 DB's

So give or take, I'd guess 5 CB's and 5 Safeties.

ST and injuries will dictate how many we carry, but no, it won't be 12
If Griffin does not beat out McCown that's one extra spot, and we will need to find room for another OL, unless we are sold on unprovens as backups.

Some guys might earn spots with ST play, meaning Reddick & Knox would get axed.
At least it's a good, healthy competition and we are not calling in retreads and warm bodies (like at the end of last season)

If Bailey can't win a starters spot, which I just don't think he will, he will be cut or retire.
