His 2015 and 2016 salaries remain at $4.4 million

2015 his dead money is over 3 million so we are stuck
but 2016 it is just over a 1.5 million so he is prime bait to make cap room with.

thus across the board or lets not talk extension.

he is not worth 4 million a year. he is what i feared a contract year player. bought into the hype out of college, thought the change to Denver would be best. signed here and i prayed that the light went on. he has played ok but he aint no 4 million dollar man

2015 nfl draft
Ellis McCarthy, DT, UCLA 6-5 330 4.99

solid 3 NT rotation. Jekins will be the man in 2015 and Bunk the back up so in 2016 let Bunk go He has not been and will never be worth 4 million a year. want the most out of him pay him a sliding scale so you may possible get the best from him his contract year.

I'm pretty sure he was referring only to 2014

Sure would have like to have drafted that big boy Nose Tackle Daniel McCullers, Tennessee; 6' 7", 352 lbs...

In a 34 defense, three nose tackles is not excessive (though Hicks can slide over in a pinch, and probably be injured playing out of position extensively); plus you've got an expiring contract in Bunckley coming up...

When we took SJB in the 2nd (58th overall), DT Nix lasted until mid-3rd round (#83 overall). That would be a nice 3-way rotation for us, too. I was hoping for DT Nix or OL.
