Unfortunately for Jim, there\'s no room for good-hearted losers in the NFL, or hardworking coaches who week in and week out are stupified by another loss. There\'s only room in the NFL for winners, and I don\'t care what he\'s done in the past or elsewhere, right now JH is anything but a winner. Bye now.

I personally feel sorry for the guy -- but I think he brought it on himself. Perhaps if he was conistently tough about the players (like he was at halftime) they would realize that being a starter was a spot to be earned not given. Had he benched AB in favor of Jake maybe we would have made the playoffs and been on a different track. Oh well - woulda, shoulda, coulda. Bottom line is that the players condition and passion are a reflection of his coaching -- and looking at the Saints slow starts I get the following feeling -- they do not come to play -- they only respond when they are down --- in college the difference in talent can overcome such lacksadasical play -- in pro football you lose.

He\'ll be a fine D-Coordinator somewhere. He put too much stock in his ability to evaluate players, and he refused to admit when he may have been wrong about it (until more recently - e.g. Sully).
