This is just another example of the media doing their utmost to cause dissention in the Saints locker room. I like Jimmy but the fact of the matter is that he was drafted as a TE, and all of his records are TE records and he is what he is, a TE period! A coach has the authority to put any player wherever he feels he needs to put them to help the team, the organization and last but not least, the player. If I were JG, I'd concentrate on not getting shut out of big games if he wants more money. Otherwise, if he doesn't like it, he can refuse to sign the tag and sit out the year and demand a trade or sit out another year if we could tag him again. That's 2 years of no money and then he can be a FA and sign with the Falcons or Panthers or Bucs cause you know that's what he's gonna do, but by then we'll have replaced him with someone better.

Once again, I have to point out, Jimmy Graham has never once claimed to be a WR nor has he ever demanded WR money. Not once. The media can't do anything without gullible people buying into their hype. Congrats. You are making their job easy.

Its business and every player and coach knows that these type of arbitrations and contract disputes are all just part of it. Its in the players best interest to try and get as much money as possible and it is the front offices job to save the organization as much money as possible.
Both sides know this and when its done its done. A contract will get done and all will be well and good by the beginning of the season.
For the record I do believe Jimmy is used more as a receiver. I don't think he would even make the team if he was used as a mostly for blocking, he is just not that good at it. That being said I don't think he deserves anything near top WR money.
I think you will see a deal around 10m
