I'm willing to bet the Saints have allowed 20 points in the first 20 minutes MORE than they have held teams to 20. Anybosy wanna bet? :)

This was a disgusting display of offensive ineptitude. This game was not the defense\'s fault. Put any defense in a situation where they have to wait until the offense decides to show up and you\'ll get the 2001-2004 Saints.

Only 15 points behind; Panthers inside our 10 : and we have called 2 timeouts with some 2mins + remaining. LOL

Presumeably the Saints think we can come back on this!

How about letting the clock run so there is not enough time for the Panthers to kick a 7th field goal.

Possibly Grant & Mitchell might get an honorable mention today. Big issue for me is that our playbook does not make use of any talent we do have.

We do not seem:
1. to consider multiple receiver options - we have only 6 players with 9 or more catches for the season
2. to use a 2nd running back - have only 4 players with 5 or more carries for the season
3. to get Deuce to run behind a blocking fullback - i.e. Karney.
4. to use tight-ends well
5. to jam receivers within 5 yeards of scrimmage
6. to track receivers close - to stop the large gains or knock the ball away

This had to be the worst performance I\'ve seen in more than two decades as a Saints fan. Benson was wrong - we don\'t play like a high school team, we\'re not even THAT good.

Seven carries on the day for Deuce (and he dropped at least two easy screens). Pathon\'s bobbling interception. Countless drops by all receivers (including, and especially, the tight ends). The defense getting steamrolled ... AGAIN. Pathetic, absolutely PATHETIC!

I\'m glad I\'m not stuck with any more tickets this season. I\'ve tried and tried, against my nature, to remain as optimistic as possible. No more. I no longer care whether or not we throw the remaining games - we\'d lose them either way.

As for quitters, let it be noted that the Saints quit on us (the fans) before most of us quit on them...
