NEW ORLEANS - Steve Gleason of the New Orleans Saints (news) was fined $5,000 by the NFL on Wednesday after being thrown out of last week\'s game with Carolina for punching the Panthers\' Kemp Rasmussen at the end of a kickoff return.



Gleason, the Saints\' special teams captain, said the fine was fair. \"From what I hear it was in line with what others have gotten.\" He apologized to his team mates and coaches.


\"I\'ve resolved the situation and now I want to move on,\" Gleason said.


Gleason, who had never been penalized for a personal foul in four NFL seasons, said he felt the Panthers continued to block him after the play was over.

Sometimes it's better to keep your mouth shut and be thought an idiot, than to open it and remove all doubt!!!!!

Ultimately..I think this guy was just extremely frustrated...H\'e the kind of guy who you make a place for on your roster..He\'s tough..and has Heart..and I don\'t care who\'s nuts he bashes in...as long as someone is getting hit...

How awesome would it be to see Deuce hit Aaron in the nards after a typical Brooks goof?

Or to see Sullivan get his \'\'Just Desserts\'\'..haha..and have Hasslet kick him n the Jewels after spending the game force feeding his fat face?

Let me go even further and say that the ideal situation would be to have all the Saints players line up..and get testical abuse from every heartbroken fan...

I could go down the line..kicking the likes of sullivan..brooks..hasslet..venturi..venturi...sullivan...sullivan..sullivan..venturi...then..mule kick the O line ...yeah...venturi venturi
