Saints' coach Sean Payton has a plan in place for Champ Bailey's role

Bill used to say this and every once in a while I’ll reference Parcells, ‘With a player like Champ we don’t need to see it every day, we just need to see it once in a while,’” Payton said. “He used to say that, it made sense. So that’s being smart, with the conditioning test, for instance, or it’s being smart with how we practice him."

The New Orleans Saints already had a great defense heading into 2014. Adding in Champ Bailey and a "vision" by the brilliant mind of Sean Payton will make them incredible.
I can't agree more :bng:

I'm sorry fellas but I gotta say something here.

Most of us have been Saints fans for years. I remember getting made fun of by Raider and 49er fans in the 90's when I was going through junior high after my family moved from Louisiana to Idaho. Can't tell you how many times I heard "The Aint's suck!".

Does anyone else realize how it feels now to have a future HoF player on the end of his fantastic career come to our team because he knows we have a serious shot at the Lombardi?

Wow gentlemen and ladies. Just wow.

I love our signing of Champ Bailey. It reminds me of us signing Darren Sharper. Another DB with hands like a WR. Heck Bailey might have the best hands on the team. Byrd has great hands too. Their hands with Vaccarro and Bushs head hunting styles is a recipe for an awesome secondary. When we signed Bailey i decided that were winning the bowl. Who Dat!

I like the Champ signing more and more, especially after seeing that video of him and Keenan working on technique together. I don't think he has to be great, or even a starter for that to be a good signing.

Agree. Doesn't need money. Doesn't need recognition. Just needs a ring.....and figured NO was the best place to get one.
