Can anyone confirm that this is a spoof story? Seems like the NFLPA would have a bit to say about two random tests if its true.

Drew I doubt even does that stuff. His FB posts are about him promoting his healthy ice creams and workouts. He just works out and is in good shape for his age. But no he won't play until he is 45. Some people make it seem like Brady has a longer life span.

The league is just dismayed that Brees has such passion and work ethic and busts his butt on the resistance training and wishes the big market teams had QB's like him and Rodgers. Nothing against Brady, but I bet they're not drug testing him.

It is not a spoof. Brees said it himself. And the NFLPA cannot say anything about it. They collectively bargained the deal. The random tests are just that, random. A player may go weeks without his number coming up and then have to be tested numerous times in a relatively short period. Players can be tested up to six times during the off-season and up to 10 players a week per team can be tested each week once training camp begins through the end of the post-season.
