The New Orleans Saints waived nose tackle Tyrone Ezell and linebacker Marcus Thompson, and also waived/injured wide receiver Steve Hull on Tuesday via the NFL transaction wire.

These moves make room for freshly signed tight end Richard Quinn and wide receiver Tobias Palmer. Ezell, Thompson and Hull were signed as undrafted rookies earlier this offseason and were longshots to earn a spot on the 53-man roster.

I heard he's a good route runner with good hands and he is definetely fast. I've also heard he's as light as 165 lbs. I also heard that he is prone to migraines. Anyway not a good sign if the Jaguars cut you but then again maybe that's why they're the Jaguars. The new Beer Man maybe.

Wide Receiver may be our deepest position, so I don't understand adding another receiver. As far as him being a returner, we have plenty of guys on the team who are also potential returners. I guess he could be a camp body, but I think I'd rather another player who could possibly add something to the team. But I'm not coach so we'll see what happens

he look good as returner but I am skeptical on his receiving ability, too many balls was caught next to his body instead of hands which can lead to ball bouncing off his body or corners knocking it out. Hawkins better watch out; this might be his replacement on practice squad

I don't like what we have been doing in the past. They used a return guy by committee. Alternating them in key returns. I like the idea of having one guy... this is your job. You want to do anything else on this team then you make some great returns and not the other way around where ok you're our RB but I need to you do this this one time.
