Kenny Vaccaro: Jimmy Graham is faster than last year
 

Saints tight end Jimmy Graham didn’t take part in the team’s offseason work this year because of his contract situation, but one of the teammates tasked with stopping him in practice says that the time away from the team didn’t slow the tight end down.

In fact, the opposite appears to be true. Safety Kenny Vaccaro is finding it even harder to match up with Graham this summer than it was while Graham was on his way to 86 catches, 1,215 yards and 16 touchdowns last season.

“The dude’s flying. He’s faster than last year, he seems stronger,” Vaccaro said, via ESPN.com.

Speed is all well and good; IMO his mental toughness needs work.

always a little body control to make it obvious when the defender is mugging you wouldn't hurt

I would rather him stay healthier than he normally is this year.

Uhh, I hope its not that the bulked up Vaccaro is a bit slower.

The oppositions secondary will not know what to do with all of Paytons toys.

I guess they will try that PED defense that is practiced out in the NW.

Jimmy set the best time on the conditioning test and everyone has saying how when he turned up for camp he was incredibly in shape, I don't think Vaccaro has slowed down

Before he got hurt I thought he had a shot at NFL MVP. Maybe this year.
